Scrim-B Barrier Material:  Watervaporproof, Greaseproof, Flexible, Heat-Sealable, Type I, Class 3

Structure : PolyCotton-Scrim/PE/Foil/PE

Protect Scrim-B is ideal for packaging items for storage or transport to protect from moisture, damaging corrosion, debris, and pests.  This material can be turned into bags or pouches using an industrial heat sealer.  MIL-PRF-131K TYPE I CLASS 3.

This material (manufacturer brand name Marvelseal 1311) is also recommended for use in art preservation and archival packaging to protect documents, artwork or other items that may be sensitive to moisture or vapors produced by wood packaging materials.  We recommend using packaging films in conjunction with vacuum packaging, desiccants, or volatile corrosion inhibitor emitters to remove and protect from any moisture that may remain inside an enclosed space.
